A few weeks ago, I donated my love for dogs, photography & rescues to the DREAM Dachshund Rescue organization.  I met Ivy at one of my sessions and have taken pictures of her three-turned-to-four cuties several times already and so when this event was being set up, we talked about how I could work with them and make it not only fun, but help raise funds as well!

So on the day of the 'Fools for Dachshunds' event, we set up a studio space at the venue, Canine Ph.D. (thank you Meredith!), and I must admit, I don't think I have ever had a session in an open space with probably over 50 dogs running around!  

Needless to say, it was an eventful experience and kept me laughing the entire time.  Throughout the sessions, we'd have little fur babies coming by to say hello to the little ones getting pictures taken, sometimes, just over kissing on me while I was taking pictures, and sometimes, just sneaking under a chair on in the background, trying to get shot by the "Puparazzi".  Yes, that just came to me and I thought it was kinda' funny so I had to say it.

Anyway, we had a blast, raised quite a bit of money for DREAM and for all of you who participated, thank you for your donations and thanks very much for your patience!  There were a total of 12 sessions that day and I am finalizing all of them so keep checking back becuase there will be about 3 sessions posted on this Blog every day for the next several days!
